Question Making money with Craigslist

I have received a number of e-mails about making money on Craigslist. Is there anything different with Craigslist than some of the other sites like E-bay and Google?

Craigslist is different than eBay and other auction sites.

Basically, you will find items by location, and you will find things that usually have to be picked up. Most people shy away from items that need to be shipped when searching Craigslist.

Basically craigslist is like an online classifieds like say the thrifty nickel or greensheet. I have tried using it but since it is free there are a ton of scammers out there. haven't had a lot of luck. Go with the paid services like ebay for the best success.

Actually, I use both. You reach different people by doing that.
The advantage of eBay is the ability to sell worldwide.
Tha advantage of Craigs is that you don't have to ship anything, and you pay no fees.

Thumbs up

Since I have seen a posting on Craigslist in almost any forums that I have visited, I decided to check it out. Hmmm, it is indeed an online classified ads which is free. Beside listing the items for sale, discussion forums, service, housing and jobs advertising are also posted in it. Not bad for a one-stop information center.

Ok, let me share a little bit.

I have access to musical instruments. I sell some of them on Craigs.
This week I sold a guitar and two violins.

Not bad, huh?

No fees, no shipping, quick profit.

I Think we can use Craiglist only for advertising...

If you're in the UK, then GumTree will do much the same for you as Craiglist does (although Craigslist is definitely the pioneer in online classifieds...)

Interesting post, thank you guys for sharing your views. Certainly there are many ways to earn money online. Make Money Online is one of the best sites I know up to now. I came up to it around some weeks ago. It's a very simple system. You don't need a website or a list or any of that jazz to use this system.
